Key Responsibilities

Courtroom Advocacy: Regularly appear in court representing clients in bench trials, eviction proceedings, motions, and rule to show cause hearings.

Case Management: Oversee a dynamic docket of civil litigation files from initial client intake and pleading preparation through judgment enforcement.

Client Counseling: Advise property managers, real estate investors, and corporate landlords on statutory compliance, lease agreements, and risk mitigation.

Legal Drafting: Draft pleadings, summary ejectment complaints, discovery requests, emergency motions, and settlement agreements.

Negotiation: Conduct pre-trial negotiations with opposing counsel and tenants to secure favorable resolutions and lease workouts.
Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 1+ years of courtroom experience handling civil litigation, general practice, or contested hearings.

Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

Bar Admission: Active and unblemished license to practice law in South Carolina.
