Employment Litigation Associate / Business Litigation Attorney | Durham, NC (Hybrid/Flexible) | Salary Commensurate with Experience

Our client, a premier, Chambers-rated business law firm in Durham, is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate or Business Litigation Attorney with 3–5 years of litigation experience to join its dynamic practice.

This position offers a direct runway to first-chair courtroom advocacy and immediate partner collaboration. While prior labor and employment experience is welcomed, it is not required, making this an ideal transition for a commercial litigator looking to specialize in high-value employment disputes.

Core Responsibilities:

• Defend corporate employers against discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and FLSA wage claims.
• Litigate complex restrictive covenants, non-compete agreements, trade secret misappropriation, and confidentiality breaches.
• Represent commercial clients before regulatory agencies, including the EEOC, Department of Labor (DOL), and OSHA.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, summary judgment briefs, and oversee e-discovery workflows.
• Take and defend depositions and present oral arguments in state/federal court and arbitration panels (AAA, JAMS, FINRA).
• Advise corporate executives and HR stakeholders directly on litigation exposure, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution.
