Our client, a highly regarded multi-disciplinary law firm in Raleigh, is seeking a Senior Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Attorney with 3–5 years of specialized experience to join its premier corporate practice.

This role offers exceptional visibility and direct client contact, serving as a trusted advisor to mid-market companies, institutional clients, and tech startups on workforce compliance and executive rewards.

Core Responsibilities:

• Structure and audit qualified and non-qualified employee benefit plans for full ERISA and tax compliance.
• Draft executive employment agreements, equity-based incentive plans, deferred compensation, and separation packages.
• Direct employee benefits due diligence for M&A transactions and guide post-closing workforce integrations.
• Represent employers in court regarding wage and hour, restrictive covenant, and ERISA disputes.
• Defend corporate clients during regulatory audits and inquiries by the DOL, IRS, and EEOC.
