Our client is a premier defense firm operating on a well-established national platform. They are seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to manage civil litigation cases in Raleigh, offering high-level trial exposure, dedicated mentorship, and strong administrative support.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage civil litigation and insurance defense cases from initial strategy through trial or resolution.

• Take and defend depositions, handle court appearances, and argue contested motions.

• Draft pleadings, written discovery requests, dispositive motions, and strategic case evaluations.

• Counsel corporate clients and insurance carriers on litigation risk, case strategy, and exposure.

• Partner with paralegals and legal support staff to oversee electronic discovery and trial preparation.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of civil litigation or insurance defense experience in a law firm setting.

• Active license and good standing with the North Carolina State Bar.

• Hands-on courtroom experience managing motion practice and depositions independently.

• Proficiency with legal research platforms, electronic filing systems, and case management software.
