Senior Commercial Litigation Paralegal
Location: Charlotte, NC (On-site)

The Role
This position is designed for a proactive, high-autonomy professional who thrives in a fast-paced trial environment. You will be the "right hand" to lead trial attorneys, managing the lifecycle of complex commercial cases from pre-suit investigation through verdict and appeal.
Key Responsibilities

Case Management: Independently manage heavy litigation dockets involving contract breaches, fraud, and unfair trade practices.

Trial Prep: Lead the "war room" efforts, including exhibit preparation, witness coordination, and electronic courtroom presentations.

Discovery Mastery: Manage large-scale E-discovery projects, subpoena production, and deposition logistics.

Drafting: Prepare high-level legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.

Filing: Execute complex filings in State, Federal, and the North Carolina Business Court.
Requirements

Experience: 5+ years of substantive experience in Commercial Litigation.

Mindset: A true "self-starter" who anticipates attorney needs without constant supervision.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in litigation support software (e.g., Relativity, Everlaw) and E-filing systems.

Certification: North Carolina State Bar Paralegal Certification (NCCP) or NALA/NFPA certification is highly preferred.

Location: Ability to work on-site in the Charlotte office daily.
